With Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough. いろんなものの感想なんかを、思いつくままにお送りすることとねお試しBlog隠れ家的雰囲気が売りのBlogです。けど、映画としての『ジュラシック・パーク』にはあまり覚えがないとしても、映像としての『ジュラシック・パーク』となると話は別。凄いという表現に尽きます。この感想は、おそらく一般の人においても同じだったのではないかと思います。つい先日のこと、恐竜の姿勢について図解で説明していて、私が子供のころは尾を引きずりながら鈍重にずしんずしんと歩く直立姿勢だったのが、今では尾をぴんと伸ばしてすたすた俊敏に走るというのが常識になってうんぬん。そうしたら、これは『そういえば、当時最新の恐竜研究をフィードバックさせたエメリッヒの『以前、コンピュータにまつわる馬鹿話をしていたときに、ほら、昔の特撮ものとかだと、解析不能に陥ったら操作パネルがやおら爆発したりしましたよね。ああいう、自爆装置つけてんのかよみたいな突っ込みをして面白がっていたのですが、その時『ジュラシック・パーク』の話が出たのでした。劇中でハッカーの女の子が『UNIXならわかるわ！』といって、パークのシステムに介入する場面があるのですが、そのUNIXの画面というのが、3Dで表現された、おいそいつはゲームかよみたいなものだったのだそうです（私は覚えてません）。どこがUNIXやねんって、けれどその人は突っ込みをいれるまでにはいたりませんでした。あまりのことに脱力してしまっていたからです。そんなわけで、その人（SEです）の中で『ジュラシック・パーク』は、恐竜の映画というよりも、とんでもUNIXの出てくる映画として位置づけられたという話でした。ところが、世の中というのは実に奥深いもので、ちょっと私はこの事実を、コンピュータ絡みの情報を探している時に偶然発見したのですが、それにしても事実とは小説よりも、いや映画よりも奇なりですよ。この情報を件のSE氏に提供したら、その人はBSD使いなのですが、さすがにfsnは知らなかったとのこと。脱帽したとのことでした。これできっとその人も、とんでもUNIXじゃなく、恐竜の映画として『ジュラシック・パーク』を観賞できるようになったのではないかと思います。 ジュラシック・パークのモニターとして選ばれ、更に日給2万ドルの顧問手当に釣られてノリノリで参加してしまう（発掘に必要な資金3年分に相当）。 当初は初の生恐竜に興奮していたが、徐々に明らかになるパークの「穴」により、否定的な意見を寄せる。 In 1936, archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones is hired by the U.S. government to find the Ark of the Covenant before In 1938, after his father Professor Henry Jones, Sr. goes missing while pursuing the Holy Grail, Professor Henry "Indiana" Jones, Jr. finds himself up against
